Privacy policy
Gohobiwa is a task tracker I run for myself and a small number of invited people. Each person has a separate instance on a server I operate. This page explains what the app stores, what it asks Google for, and how to remove it.
What the app stores
- The tasks, tags, completion history, and settings you enter.
- A login for your instance.
- If you connect Google Calendar, the sign-in tokens Google issues, kept in an encrypted file on the server for your instance only.
What it asks Google for
With your permission, Gohobiwa uses access to your primary Google Calendar for two things: working out when you are busy, and creating or removing the task blocks you choose to schedule. It uses your events only to find free time. It does not use any other calendar.
Google user data
Gohobiwa's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Calendar data is used only to provide the scheduling feature you see in the app. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to train AI models.
Sharing
I do not share your data with anyone, except where the law requires it. The app has no advertising and no third-party analytics.
Who can see your data
I host your instance, so I can technically reach its database. I only look at it to keep the server running or to fix a problem you have asked me to look at.
Deleting your data
- Disconnect Google Calendar from inside the app.
- Revoke access any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Email me and I will delete your instance, including its database and stored tokens.
Changes
If this policy changes, I will update the date at the top of this page.
